When I am listening to piano musical, it reminds me about those dust covering on my piano keyboard..

I love music specially produced by piano instrument, that used to encourage me to be the producer.. but I stopped for a year since my last decision to stop learning last year. I just would like to take a break, and my break seems to be never ended.

Last week HL and A reminded me that I'd stopped touching my piano for some time... it's such a waste he said.. all the effort is wasted.. But I couldn't think of the reason why I am not stepping near to my piano anymore.. why?

Since last month, I started busy with a few stuffs other than my job like v's new house renovation coordination, furniture comparing and buying, and committed to assist dad in his website creation. It keeps me thinking a lot on designing the web architecture while collecting requirement with only 1-man effort. I seldom had a deep rest from days to nights.

I found it's so hard to concentrate on many stuffs together at the same period. Due to those commitments, I missed out a lot of chances to get outing with friends and family, and polishing piano playing and photography skills. Finally, I get sick after struggling for a month plus...

A good thing, today is the first day of staying in the new house, located at 14th floor, the balcony is facing swimming pool and half of the penang bridge. Therefore, the view is extremely nice and it's windy without blocking by surrounding high buildings. I quite like the swimming pool cause it's big and well-maintained. As Pisa public swimming pool has been closed for maintenance since 9-month ago, I hardly get the chance to swim... it's show time now! :D gonna recover first then.

YESTERDAY was a tiring and important day of mine...

... not my wedding day though but my Code Deployment day

It's always so nervous the moment when my code gets promoted to production, aka Go Live! to global users. For this round, I've made some major changes which affect most functions of the system.

Tiring... Worked from 8am (Emm.. not so punctual :P) till 5pm, and then started code deployment from 7pm - 11pm. I chose to standby at home during the later session which was an extremely bad choice.

7pm, Downtime was started. Things got pretty well in the beginning of the implementation until Technical Test... I started receiving all these negative messages...

L and I tried to access the next url but the web page cannot be displayed do you know why?

~Bali-bali :: The heart of Bali (1/2)

There are a numbers of famous Hinduism temples in Bali which are mainly located at the center of the island. The Hindus, who come to pray in the temples, are not only from the local area but from all over Bali and also from outside the island.

In these few days, we were arranged visiting some famous temples in Bali.

Tampaksiring & Titra Empul Temple

Tampaksiring & Titra Empul temple is one of the holiest temples on Bali.

As some of us wore short pant, we were required to wrap the “sarong” which was provided at the entrance of temple, as a sign of respect to the temple.

There are two huge statues of “dragons” decorated the main gate and from below the stairway the temple looks so majestic.

The Balinese themselves often come here to bathe and purify themselves physically and spiritually.

The special of this temple is its hot springs which now bubbled eerily in the central courtyard.

Monkey Forest of Alas Kedaron

In this holy monkey forest, there are hundreds of “tame” monkeys live in the forest surrounding of the temple.

Although they are not wild type of monkeys, they are sometimes naughty. They usually roam around inside and outside of the temple, waiting for the right moment to steal the fruits or the guest’s belonging.

I remember that one of my friend’s spec was stolen by little monkey within 1 second. He refused to return back unless we exchanged it using fruit. The common sight will be men holding sticks to keep the monkeys away. We gonna guard our valuable items and not wearing anything that can attract the monkeys’ attention. According to our tour guide, the monkeys learnt targeting to ladies. How rude they are… ~.~

Gua Gajah

This is popularly known as the Elephant Cave, which probably dates back to at least the 11th century.

The entrance of the cave is carved into a cliff face

The cave was discovered in year 1954, believed that it was used by Hinduism or Buddhism for meditation purpose. It is not a huge cave, but it is valuable with great history.

~Bali-bali :: Journey to the North

At near to the north of Bali, we had been to a few spots including the volcano of Mount Batur in Kintamani, Lake Beratan and Tegallalang Paddy Field.

The first historically documented eruption of Batur was in year 1804, and it has been frequently active since then.

I like the scenery there especially when the cold wind blew on my cheek, I could forget every stress and jobs in my routine working life. Now I understand the reason of most people gonna take a break and relax their mind after certain period of busy life.

We had our buffer lunch at Restaurant Suling Bali in Kintamani where we enjoyed the cold climate and spectacular view of the still active volcano of Mount Batur.

Once we came out from the restaurant, there were a few Jawaneses (not Balineses) who were selling their stuffs in an “aggressive” manner. An advice, if we are not going to buy their stuff, better don’t touch it in the first place.

Ulundanu temple was built on the promontory surrounded by Lake Beratan. This holy temple is dedicated to the Supreme God in His manifestation as Dewi Danu, the Goddess of the lake.

We had our lunch right beside the wide Paddy field, a very remote place where modern entertainment is inaccessible. All we could do is relax and appreciate richness of nature.

“Huh? We’re going to Bali in June o..”, mummy responded.

Little Vince is in 5-month !!

Since the last post written visiting my little nephew, Vince in 2-week-old, I had never visited him for a couple of months. As I remember, he was really "fragile". Haha, the only word I could think of to describe him as I did not even dare to carry him. It's different now, little vince is stronger and "solid". "Yeah, i'm a man..!", he complained. =P

Taking flight from Penang to KL, driving sis's car from KL LCCT to Tangkak @ Johor, can't wait to bring myself visiting him again. That was the 2nd time I met him, and I miss him so so much. :)

~The Penang Mansions visit

HL organized a 5-hour outing to visit both Pinang Peranakan Mansion and The Cheong Fatt Tze Mansion in Georgetown. "Count me in", haha.. the usual phrase i used to response a "Yes".

I wanted to visit them for a long time, especially Pinang Peranakan Mansion since I've watched "The Little Nyonya", a very nice Singapore drama series. There were some scenes captured in the mansion, the Chen Xi's house. I used to be so addicted to the series, such a recommended drama series !!

Photographing is allowed inside & outside of Pinang Peranakan Mansion but that's too bad that we are not allowed taking any photo inside Cheong Fatt Tze Mansion. =(

The day of my department Q2 event which everyone waited for long, was finally arrived. Because of the free half day? Because of the delicious food? Haha... should be one of them. We (the gals) were so supportive this time as our M became one of the committees. She had chosen Little A and me to be the helpers for the event, the rests were the team building members.

My dear alarm clock woke me up early on last Sunday morning... "Arrggg!!! Today is not a weekday!!!", feeling so much of unwillingness to wake up. Suddenly, I was reminded that "Morning has the best lighting in photo snapping, and friends are all waiting for me..".. Ok, fine!...turned on my radio and went into the bathroom as usual. >.<|||

Then, I was brought to Sunset Bistro at Batu Ferringhi, Penang in blur & sleepy mood. That was my first time to be there, recommended by Reiny. A nice and relaxing beach which is located behind the Ferringhi Garden and just next to Parkroyal Hotel, just turn right after Pakroyal Hotel into a small lane.

Always not regret to spend my Sunday morning with 2 new friends, Kirsten and Gerayne, the secondary schoolmates of Reiny. They're so sweet, friendly and photogenic. :)

Last weekend, I took breakfast early in the morning @ Penang Georgetown, drove pass those Penang Heritage buildings. Wau... the buildings look so classic under the soft morning sunlight. Since Penang city is now part of UNESCO's World Heritage Cities Program, I should take some photos of it for memories... Again, using borrowed DSLR camera.

How was it?

We were brought by my housemate and friends attending the historical wedding gown photography taking, organized by Fotocam in Penang. A very awesome experience for me which is really worth in term of time and $$ invested during my last weekend. The registration fees is only MYR10 for 2 mornings where we could learn and take lot of portraits with different postures. Just that... emm... a bit crowded... :( see...

“I have a new puppy, called cute cute”, mum sms me.

Omg.. puppy again. I’m so scared of dog but in opposite mum bought the puppy. He’s our 2nd puppy in my house. Back to 1 year ago since my youngest sis left home for further study, mum has started to find her accompaniment. However, it’s also good since she has used to take care of “someone”.

I went back hometown and saw him finally.. well.. he wasn’t scary at all.. so so cute. He’s the first puppy that I dare to hug and play with.

~Earth Hour @ Penang - before & after

Earth Hour... 8.30pm - 9.30pm, 28th Mac 2009 in Malaysia, which was 3 days ago.

After watching the videos of Earth hour 2008 which was participated by the other countries (such as Aus and US), I was wondering what would be going to happen in Malaysia during this 1 hour period. So, I made up my mind going up to Penang hill, hoping to capture some nice city night view for before and after.

One of the landmarks, the Penang Bridge turned into dark for one hour in order to support Earth Hour 2009.

~Simple & short Hatyai trip with colleagues

We’re back again to Hatyai~~, a relaxing trip for us to release stress from the work. The last time I went to Hatyai was last year, together with my mum and sis. I always miss the massage and cheap stuff over there.

“Someone” suggested going to Hatyai again because of recent heavy workload which had caused everyone of us shouting out load for a BREAK. Yeah~, everyone seemed to be so supportive. Since we were having a day of public holiday on March, we had decided to pick the date forming our 3 days 2 nights trip to Hatyai. Not going with family this time, but going with 8 colleagues.

Well, it doesn’t require much effort to make preparation before the trip, just need to arrange for the transportation and accommodation in a week before. We were using the same transportation as last time, taking van to Hatyai which costs only MYR55 for return trip from Penang to Hatyai. Nice, big and clean new van.

The next preparation would be accommodation arrangement, I was given some travel coupons for Sakol Hotel (a simple and nice hotel) which costs only MYR68 per room. Opps..unluckily the rooms were only available on the 2nd night, full house on 1st night. Emm… alright, we try our luck on our alternative plan, the Regency Hotel (Hatyai) which costs MYR140 per room but could accommodate 3 people for a king size bed. Cool, the rooms were available. So, our trip ended up staying in Regency Hotel for the first night, and Sakol Hotel for the 2nd night.

Wau… I want massage!! I kept thinking on it along the journey to Hatyai. We reached Hatyai at around lunch time in the first day. Not forget to try on their cheap buffet lunch with variety of local foods for only MYR14 per person. It’s located at the top floor of Lee Garden Hotel (walking distance from Regency Hotel). After shopping at the market, my happy hour had finally arrived, we went for full body Thai healthy massage at the 7th floor of Lee Garden Hotel, which costs only MYR24 for around 1 ½ hour. I wonder where we can get such cheap full body massage in Malaysia.

Always not forget our dinner at “Hia Kui”, a very popular seafood restaurant. It was my 2nd time trying on the seafood at “Hia Kui”, still very delicious.. yummy~~

Besides of repeating the same activity “shopping…zz”, we were brought to watch Hatyai Cabaret show ("Ah-Kua" she-male show) for MYR35 including a dinner. As we were sitting quite close to the stage, I got to shoot lot of pictures of them. Pretty… admiring their sexy artificial body shape… ;)

It is such a relaxing and short budget trip of us, and we still were meeting our aim by taking a break from the busy working life. :P

~Thinking about Vince in the holiday mood

As I was taking 1 week off for Chinese New Year (CNY) celebration, I was extremely busy working on my project after the holiday. And finally, the project rollout on Wednesday, all the user checkout feedbacks had fixed and enhanced as well. :)

Holiday, holiday, holiday mood again, this mood keeps flashing in the day before I'm going for holiday. So happy to think about tomorrow where I'll be going to Hatyai with my colleagues for 3 days. It had been so long that I didn't go for any vacation. However, this year would be a wonderful year of mine, say "Hi" to Hatyai, Bali and Australia... =P Can't wait to drop down my words here after the journey, just as what I did all these while.

Last 2 week, on 14/2 the Valentine's day, a baby boy has come to this beautiful world. My cute and very first nephew, **little vince** who is hoping to see the world in this romantic day. Happy Chinese New Year to you all ~~

I'm home now.. home sweet home in Ipoh, my lovely hometown for a week.

I have a little wish for this Chinese New Year 2009. I wish to kick away all the bad lucks in the year of Rat and welcome all the good lucks in the year of Ox. =)

In the ending of year of rat, I encountered a lot of bad incidents. My car was crashed, my self-achievement was terrible, my relationship wasn’t great, and I was hospitalized and was nearly robed by the strangers. Ooppss… all of these is really scary. My Chinese New Year resolution is to overcome and fix all the complicatedness, be healthy and be happy. =)

As I’ll be taking a week off for the Chinese New Year celebration, last week (WW04) was my busiest working week to cover up most of the job before taking a long break. Therefore, I wasn’t really in the mood in welcoming the arriving of the Ox Year. Yeah, but I involved myself in Chinese New Year charity fund raising activity organized by Altera Community Team (ACT). We were selling Chinese New Year foods and decorations within the company staffs to raise fund for charity.

Now I’m home in Ipoh. I believe this statement which “Facebook connects people”, it allows everyone remembering friends who crossed by our life. In this Chinese New Year, it seems to have a greater plan than the previous year. I’ll be staying in Ipoh from Monday to Thursday, and then heading to Melaka to visit my dad’s relatives from Friday to Sunday. Lastly, fly back from KL to Penang.

In Ipoh, I’ll be having gathering with Secondary school and University friends. Since I’m working in the island, we seldom have the chance to meet up together as most of them are working in KL or Singapore. It’s great that we’re still keeping in touch after we left the school for more than 5 years.

~My Short Relax Trip to HotSprings Park Sg Klah, in Songkai Perak

After some long break from blogging, finally I make up my mind to blog again to update on my recent life and activities. =)

For this holiday, previously we were thinking to plan for a short trip to Hatyai, but ended up postponing it to next year around Feb or Mac when Thailand's political situation stabilizes. Therefore, we just planned for a one-day relaxing trip to HotSprings Park Sg Klah, in Songkai Perak.

Getting There
The Sungai Klah Hot Springs Park in Perak is located 10km south of Sungkai. The turn-off is just south of the Sungkai toll exit on the North-South highway. Access to the park is signposted, about 10km from the main road.

The direction signboard of HotSprings Park. There are some attraction points in this place, such as HotSpring Pool, Mountain Spring Pool, Egg Bowling, Therapy Park, Jakuzzi and SPA village.

As this is our relaxing trip, we have some plans in our “to-enjoy” list, which include:
1) HotSprings Jakuzzi private pool (RM75 per pool for 1 hour)
2) SPA (Full body massage) (RM65 per person for 1 hour)

While waiting for our turn based on our booking schedule, we firstly tried on soaked my legs into the Therapy Park. The water was really hot, about 45 – 50 degrees. We needed to slowly get used to the water warmness and soaked our legs for around 15 minutes minimum without taking them out to ensure our blood circulation therapy work effectively.

Here I go… :P finally I was able to soak my legs after some tries. It’s still really hot..

Opss… time has reached, it was our turn to own HotSprings Jakuzzi private pool for an hour. When I first stepped into this private compartment, it surprised me. I couldn’t imagine that both of us own the whole pool with the private bath room and relax area in this private compartment. The Jakuzzi pool looks like what we always watched in the Japanese drama.

The water was warm, good enough for us to dip in the pool. According to the guidance, it is better to get out of the pool after every 15-20 min so that our body temperature could maintain.

After jakuzzi, I executed my 2nd relaxing plan, which was full body massage at SPA village. I was trying on HotSpring relaxing full body massage instead of Malay traditional full body massage.

Cool, nice… ~~ I nearly fell asleep during the body massage.

Other than that, there are some public pools such as HotSprings pools and Mountain Springs pools. However, I didn’t try on that which I think everyone might able to guess the reason. :P

Lastly, this was the interesting part, Egg Bowling. Some tourists brought their own eggs and bowled it using the natural hotspring water. Wau, it was really worked. :P

That was my very first experience trying on HotSprings Jakuzzi private pool and I was having an enjoyable moment there, fully relaxed myself out from stress working life. This place is recommended to those who hope to rest and relax themselves... haha…

Finally, I ended up my korea visit story here with these last day here before taking our early plane back to Malaysia in the next morning. We tried to explore Seoul again in the final day. Korea subway is really convenient to simply reach to the place we are interested to. Kindly just refer to the map below, although the map seems to be a bit complicated. :P

Lotte World

By taking subway, we’ve reached Lotte World, a recreation complex in Seoul. It’s mostly like Sunway city in Selangor, Malaysia. It consists of a large indoor theme park, an outdoor amusement park, and island linked by monorail, shopping malls, a hotel, a Korean folk museum, sports facilities and movie theaters in one area. The Lotte world indoor amusement park in the world, and ranked seventh worldwide in attendance according to the 2002 census.

This time, we’ve not spending time to join the indoor amusement theme park but just played a visit around some other spots within the Lotte world.

Namdaemun – The Great Southern Gate

In the afternoon, we went for shopping again, guys were really patient to shop with us (Thanks to them… hehe..). Emm, actually they were waiting for us in the coffee house. This time, our shopping place aim was Namdaemun market.

Why this place is called Namdaemun “The Great Southern Gate” (南大门)? It was the city’s main entrance from the south when Seoul became the capital of Korea more than 600 years ago. This important historical symbol is being protected by the government for more than hundred years. There was still traditional guard significant playing duty to take care of the big city gate.

However, I’ve just gotten the news that the gate was ravaged by a fire that broke out on the 10th of February, 2008 (around half a year after we were back from Korea). Many people were deeply distressed on it.

Yeouido Island

In the last night in Seoul, we took subway to transfer ourselves to Yeouido Island, a large island within Seoul, and one of Seoul’s business districts. To relax ourselves, we bought some light food and drinks there for our dinner, lying on recreational Hangan Park Ttukseom at the south edge of the Han River. The scenery is so nice….

This was the last night in Seoul, we felt so heavy hearted to leave this nice place. We were really enjoying ourselves so much during the trip, with the group of new friends and people. I love korea’s culture really much, most of them are polite and kind. At least I wasn’t being scold or alienated by the local people when we were enquired on direction sometimes. Besides that, emm.. everyone admitted that too, the girls are so pretty and the guys are so handsome there. They’re really sensitive to fashion and skin care. Sometimes when I was walking to the street in Korea, I felt that I was in the drama show with so many good looking humans.

I’m in plan to travel to Seoul again, may be some years later. That time, I think I won’t be taking the travel package again, but to really explore myself to some other places in Korea.

After coming back from Suwon, we went towards to Seoul for our final day in the Korea package trip. There are some attractive tourist spots in Seoul besides of shopping area which I love it so much. :P

Deoksugung palace (德寿宫)

In the early morning, we started our journey to the first spot, Deoksugung palace (德寿宫). This palace is a walled compound of palaces that was inhabited by various Korean royalty until the Japanese occupation near the turn of the 20th century. The buildings are of varying construction, including some of natural sugi, painted wood, and stucco. Some buildings were built in Western style.

I recalled some similar scenes taking in “Goong” (宫) Korea Series, a funny and lovely Korea recommended series.

After that, we tried on KimChi making, made on my own KimChi. KimChi is a traditional Korean fermented dish made of vegetables with varied seasonings, most commonly referring to the spicy baechu variety. There was a cook who taught us on the correct way to make KimChi.

~Day 4 Hwaseong Fortress & Suwon World Cup Stadium, Suwon

Hwaseong Fortress (华城)

In the early morning, we were brought to Hwaseong Fortress (“Brilliant Fortress") in Suwon (水原), 30 Kilometers from Seoul. It was built from 1794 to 1796. King Jeongjo, the 22nd king of the Joseon Dynasty (1392 – 1910), constructed the fortress complex to honor and house the remains of his father Prince Sado who was forced to commit suicide by being shut in a rice chest by King Yeongjo. Still, it is a well-preserved architecture of the Joseon Dynasty built of stone and oven-baked bricks.

Suwon World Cup Stadium

Next, we proceed to Suwon World Cup Stadium (“Big Bird Stadium”), which seats 43,288, opened in May 2001. It’s known as “Big Bird Stadium” because its roof was designed by the inspiration of a bird in flight. Besides that, the seats are inspired by Hwaseong Fortress. The following 2002 FIFA World Cup Korea/Japan matches were held in the Suwon World Cup Stadium. It was the 'highest scoring' stadium of the tournament, averaging five goals per match. The stadium is currently open to visitors.

Orange(Ato), purple(Kaz) and blue(Nik) (respectively) futuristic, computer-generated creatures. Collectively members of a team of "Atmoball" (a fictional football-like sport), Ato is the coach while Kaz and Nik are players. ~Day 3 in Everland, Yongin (2/2)

After long hours of bus journey, finally we reached Everland, a theme park in Yongin (suburd of Seoul). Everland is South Korea’s largest theme park. It’s operated by Samsung Everland, which is a subsidiary of the Samsung Group. For my opinion, it’s similar as Disney land in architecture, scale, themes and general atmosphere.

I believe kids will definitely love this place, we felt very happy and excited like a kid when we stepped into Everland. We were like dreaming in the fairy tale world, as Enchanted Movie. :P

There are different theme applies to different season period, we were in “Happy Halloween Party” theme for the period of September 5, 2007 to November 2, 2007. Every corner in Everland had been decorated with Halloween’s atmosphere.

There are some attraction points in Everland, such as some American & European adventure games, Magic Land, Aesop’s Village, Zoo-Topia and Global Fair.

I never tried on this as I couldn’t stand for the spinning rotation. However, I tried for the roller coaster at American Adventure too. Imagine how excited it is when taking roller coaster at night time with only 3 of us (Ice, KS and me). It made me think of the movie, Final Destination III at that moment, but finally still tried to take this challenge. Wow, it was so scary and excited to play this dangerous game under the cold wind.

Next, would be the skyline ride (like a ski lift) to get from another section of Everland.

In Zoo-Topia, we were taken into the Jungle by a bus. The trip showed us the genes combination of tiger and lion, named Tigion or Liger. Too bad that I couldn’t take any picture of them as it was during night time. But, my previous blog showed that.

~Day 3 in Seoraksan National Park, Mt Sorak & Abai Village, Sokcho (1/2)

After spending a cold night at Mt Sorak, we were brought to Seoraksan National Park early in the morning.

Seoraksan National Park is considered one of the Korea’s most beautiful mountain areas, consisting of Oeseorak (outer), Nauseorak (inner) and Namseorak (southern). It boasts numerous valleys well known for their spring blossoms and fall foliage. Besides that, it is a magnificent area with towering granite peaks, lush green valleys, dense forests, Buddhist temples and hermitages, waterfalls and clear streams. (Information quoted from Korea Travel Guide).

I was attracted by this nice scenery in the cold weather while I stepped into the park. Wau, it was really relaxing and I felt no regret to take off my 1 week leave to travel here. I fully forgot everything about my busy work, just to RELAX HERE.

Amitofo… so far… so close… I felt so far away from Malaysia, but I felt so close to meet my teacher here, warming in my heart.

There was my first time putting my wish to the mountain’s temple, suddenly missed my family so much, really hoped to be with them here.

Whenever I go Genting Highland in Malaysia, I definitely drink a glass of ice blended chocolate in the cold weather, to challenge myself. Haha… these time, four of us gonna challenge ourselves again, to eat Ice-cream in this cold place.. haha.. I love the feeling…

Next, we went to Abai Village in Sokcho, a place wasn’t that popular until a movie captured (again) here. I never watch this before, but I heard of this movie series name a few years ago. A love movie again, called “Autumn in my heart” 蓝色生死恋, which everyone loves it so much.

The village is reminiscent of the homes in 1960s and 1970s. We can get to Abai Village by either car or boat, but we chose to get there by boat. The boat from Sokcho to Cheong-dong can carry 35 people at most because it not powered by an engine. This ‘Gaetbae’ boat operates on manpower, people pulling on ropes moving the boat across a waterway.

This place is popular with big pear; it tasted so sweet and fresh.

Merry Christmas to all... *muacks*

The happiest and romantic moment had just over. In this year, I went for quite a number of shopping malls in KL.

Yeah, I was in KL in the weekend before Christmas, to watch Richard Clayderman’s piano performance in Genting Highland on 21st Dec 2007. Perhaps, I have shot some of his photos during the performance, so smart and professional.

Back to Christmas, as I was not taking leave on Christmas Eve, I went back from KL to Penang on 23rd Dec (Sunday). Therefore, I gonna spend my Christmas in this lonely island. Luckily, YJ, SL and KM were still in the Penang, at least we still could go out to celebrate together.

From my KL trip, I grabbed a lot of *Christmas* Memories from all the Christmas decoration in each and every shopping malls. There was so colorful and attractive, with different idea and concept in decoration according to their theme respectively.

~Day 2 arrived Mt Sorak, East Coast of South Korea (2/2)

It was getting late after we visited Nami Island, we had to take about 3 hours driving journey to Mount Sorak, the third highest mountain in South Korea, located in Gangwon Province at the east coast of South Korea.

Never forget this day, 8th Oct, the birthday of my berry berry 1,2,3…. 17 years best friend. Know her since primary school till now.. 8th Oct has already locked into my memory for years, cannot be deleted. Hehe..

So happy to get the chance to celebrate my best friend, ICE’s birthday, in this special occasion in Korea. A wish from me to Ice, to wish her Happy & Healthy ever after.

Korea’s cake is different taste as Malaysia.. it’s delicious (quite expensive too)

As playing firecracker is illegal in Malaysia, we quickly grabbed chance to legally play it in Korea.

At the beach at night… in Malaysia, when we go to the beach, sure we first think about ‘hot’ under the burning sun. However, it was so cold here even in the morning at the beach. May be because of the latitude of the locale we stood.

In this cold weather, the resort that we stayed provides no bed in the bedroom, but only placed the thin mattresses on the floor. At first, we thought we were treated in bad services. After explained by the tour guide, this is Korean tradition of Ondol heating which hot air comes from an oven through pipes under the floor to keep it warm. That is the reason where Korean people slept on thin mattresses on the floor in the cold weather.

Day 2 ended, sleeping tightly on the warmth floor with blanket under the cold weather comfortable… zzz…

~Day 2 in Nami Island, ChunCheon Korea (1/2)

After having a good rest, we started our tour journey for another 5 days.

Our tour consisted of 16 of new friends, all of them came in a group of 10, and we came with a group of 4 joining together. They (our new friends) are having different type of relationship with one another, such as the boss & workers, the boss & family, the family members & friends, workers & family. However, 80% of us are youngster, except for an old couple.

We took our tour bus from Incheon to Nami Island at Chun Cheon, the shooting place of [Winter Sonata] korea movie series. I guess many of those who’re taking tour to Korea will definitely visit this place, a popular tourist spot in Korea.

According to our Korea tour guide, who is able to communicate in mandarin, she storied that this island wasn’t that popular until it was bought by a Korea actor called “Bae Yong Jun” (裴勇俊), to use this island as the shooting place for his movie. After all, the movie was so successful and popular, and it became one of the tourist spot in Korea.

The scenery is so nice, we felt very relaxing here. We saw a group of cute pupils passing by, unfortunately we just know Korean words to greet them & thank them, on top of that, we performed our body language plus little bit of simple English to talk with them. Haha.. funny. Anyway, they’re friendly.

Wishing Stone, we will get our dream comes true if our stone doesn't fall. Before this, we can’t simply ‘stole’ other people’s stone and assumed as ours. Haha, we gonna search around the island for the stone. Here we found different size of them, uppers one is Ice’s stone; the second one is mine; and the last 2 stones are Ks’s one(greedy huh..). Hopefully the stones wouldn’t be destroyed by anyone, so our dream can comes true.. :P keke..

Namsangol Hanok Village (南山名俗村)

By taking Seoul City Tour bus (again), we were brought to Namsangol Hanok Village, a beautiful village which includes traditional Korean houses (hanok from the Joseon Dynasty). These houses are actually were moved from their original locations around Seoul and restored completely.

After all, we climbed up the slope to Mt. Namsan Seoul Tower, a city landmark which presents panoramic view.

We could see some of them jogging or cycling up to Mt. Namsan.

After about 15 min, we reached to the Mt. Namsan, a happening and crowded place. There were traditional dances and performances by the Koreans. The singing and dancing performances were so similar as what I saw from Korean movie.

Many couples drew their lovely messages on the padlock and locked it at the gate of Mt. Namsan, wish to lock their love forever without apart. Romantic huh....

Lastly, we were about the time to meet up with the others tour members who just reached Korea Incheon airport in late evening. We took bus from Seoul city back to Incheon resort. Sleepy, sleeping in the bus for 1 hour…

After dinner with them, day 1 ended… rest more to prepare our best for day 2, 3, 4, ….. kekee…

~Day 1 in Seoul Korea (1/2)

In our first one day tour, we had decided to take Seoul City Tour Bus to transfer us to some best-known spots in Seoul with one ticket. The ticket costs 10,000 won (about MYR 37.50) for one-day free pass. However, people can still buy single-ride ticket in 5,000 won.

The buses actually run the Downtown Tour, and we may get off anywhere, then reboard and proceed. Besides that, we can play timed tourist location information in Korean, English, Japanese, Chinese and French by using the provided headsets (as below).

According to the route, the first place we got down was National Museum of Korea. From here, we could understand cultural and history of Korea and some neighboring countries and region.

After visited the museum, we waited for Seoul City Tour bus for another spot using our one-day free pass ticket. It wasn’t spent a long time on waiting for the bus, it reached in about 10 min. When we got up to bus, suddenly I found that I had lost the ticket. Oppss… I was so panic, searching around my bag, my pockets and friends’ bags as well… but still couldn’t find. After that, I was asked to sit down first to search carefully, in the end, I still couldn’t find it. Before I planed to report to the bus conductor, I realized that she didn’t notice we missed one ticket when entering the bus. Therefore, we just kept quiet. Feel so regret when writing all these bad manner, if the same incident happened to some people, sure they’ll buy the ticket again. But I…. so bad..

Waiting for such long for the chance to explore South Korea, i'm so happy that finally I made my dream comes true.

Before the trip...

We almost failed to go to the trip. Me, Ice, Ks and Looi booked a cheap tour package during matta fair on June this year. We thought that everything would go fine after we paid for the deposit. We planned to take 5 days Korea tour package and take another extra 2 days to walk by our own in Seoul, the capital of South Korea. The main reason of taking tour was because we could save much money in booking a group flight tickets instead of individual tickets, and wanted to save some time to visit some rural area in Korea which we couldn’t go by ourselves without tour guide. However, we insist wanted to spend another 2 more days to walk by our own to gain some different experience exploring Seoul in Korea. "At least when you dropped me in Seoul, I know how to survive", that's the phrase I always said to myself.

When the day was near, we started to feel excited, waiting for the arriving of our lovely trip. However, some of us were still busy for work, to clear out all the tasks before fully relax ourselves in the trip. There was strange that we received no phone call in 2 weeks before the departure date. We made a call to the related travel agent, to enquiry on that. Unfortunately they told us that they couldn't form the group due to lack of headcount. We felt so surprise to know that, and meanwhile we started to find the other travel agents to join their group. We hardly able to join any group because of a few reasons, such as the group has full, the date was not suitable, the tour fee was too expensive and blah blah blah... Finally, the previous travel agent found a 6-days Korea tour which was good enough for us. Therefore, we made up our mind to join the tour. As there was no more booking for the flight on the exact date, we were arranged to arrive Korea from Malaysia 1 day before the tour, and depart from Korea to Malaysia 1 day after the tour, ended up that we would take totally 8 days for our Korea trip.

Starting the trip...

On 6th of Oct (Sat), we brought ourselves to KLIA airport, to gather with the others in the airport. For me, i took KLIA transit to transfer myself from PutraJaya to KLIA airport. So happy to meet my best friend again, blek ...

We took Thai airline, to fly from KLIA to Thailand for about 2 hours, and to fly from Thailand to Korea for 7 hours. We were going to spend our first night in the night plane, and then started our bright new journey in the next morning after arrival.

Always not forget to take photo with stewardess, pretty stewardess from Thailand.

We had reached Thailand in 2 hours time, waiting for another 1-2 hours in Thailand new airport for the flight to transfer from Thailand to Korea.

While waiting for the flight, we took out our 'research material', started to plan for our exploration trip in Seoul for the next day.

Night plane wasn't such nice that we thought, we couldn't sleep much in the plane because of many various situation, such as the small seat, noises, stewardess who woke us up to serve food & drinks, and etc. I slept for about 3 hours only with my eyes mask.

Finally, we had reached the Incheon airport in Korea, a city that filled with "+0x" wordy.

Know you since primary school standard 4, remember that we were not still close until secondary school. We were together to spend our memorable moment playing and studying together. You were prefect, and I was librarian, but we are alike with the others, still were that playful who loved to act like kids. Surprisingly that we still keep in contact 6 years after graduated from secondary school. Every one of us stepped out from our lovely homeland, to chase for our dream respectively. I went for further studies in MMU while you too preceded your studies in form 6 then TARC. Many of my friends have lost contact with us; and many of them couldn’t remember us with even our name sometimes. But we’re still no difference, keeping in touch from years to years. At least, our hearts are still virtually staying with each other. From Uni life until working life, we are still that close in our hearts from a far distance, topics never end.

I feel so sorry and regret that couldn’t meet up with you before you departed, miss you deep from my heart. And now, i'm back to the island, first day work after my long holiday, purposely came back to celebrate my birthday together with my Penang's friends. An excuse actually, the real reason is because I have no more leave to apply for my birthday. Keke...

~MMU Convocation 2007

I attended this year convocation in MMU again. According to my 'annual record', I have attended totally 5 years' convocation from year 2003 to 2007. The most memorable convocation was my own one in [year 2006]. keke..

I have thought for quiet some time, considering whether wanted to take leave, attend for my best friends' convo in MMU Cyberjaya. Lastly, I had finally made up my mind, to start my very first click. 'Click 1' was used to book the flight tickets, transferring myself from the isolated island to KL. The 2nd click was applied to submit a day of leave on Monday.

Friends, I always remember the moment we spent together in our 4 years' University life. Thanks for coloring up my Uni life with happiness and joyfulness.

Although I'm in the lonely island, but i never forget all of you, will back KL more often (in the coming 31st aug too :P), keep in touch with you all forever. Drop me emails or messages anytime and any day... :)

~Astro Talent Quest 2007 live show

Never blog for quite some time, busy again? Hehe... busy to gain independence from the "empire", shifted to my new house to flight for my freedom... "Merdeka! x 7".

Last 2 weeks, I was being requested by my so called "beloved friends" to grab some free tickets in Gurney Plaza for Astro Talent Quest 2007 live show that would be held in Piza Penang on 12th Aug. One person can only grab for 2 tickets by exchanging the newspaper cut with them. Alright, as I was so freedom and nothing to do at home, I followed the gang to get the tickets together. Wondering there would just queuing up one-by-one to get the tickets, but unfortunately it wasn't so simple as what i thought. Everyone was pushing one another to be "in". Wau, felt so tight, breathless and hot, and sometimes did smell "something". Besides of that, I saw some old ladies and old men who were being pushed in and out in the queue.. pity them.. wondering whose kids could really scarified their parents, helping them to get the tickets. Yeah, finally I got 2 tickets, hehe... who should I date? Oppss, the tickets were given to my friends to decide.

Watching the live concert has only 1 purpose, would get to see "S.H.E" (Selina, Hebe and Ella) group singers from Taiwan, and I actually know nobody of the contestants. In the day itself, by looking at their posters, only I get to know their names by matching with their appearance. Who did I support? Haha, of course the most handsome one. (understandable)

There were 2 handsome guys performed in the shows, both of them were past year and this year contestants. However, both of them have the same destiny, who was getting the 2nd place in the contest (although I feel that they should deserve the first). See their handsome faces here.

Something to share...

Some of us might always need to face monitor computer day and night in either office or home. It causes our eyes red and tired.... What to do? Like me, need to drop EYE MO to prevent dry eyes. :( And now, i found a way to protect our pretty eyes. @_@

By default, our pc monitor is set in white background, but watching white colour could stimulate our eyes. However, we can subsitute white desktop to something green... (like my blog's background... keke) Here are some steps: (opss.. just for windows xp)

Step 1:
1) Right click your desktop > properties
2) Click at "appearance" tab
3) Under Color Scheme, choose "Olive Green".
4) Then, click at "Advanced"
5) Item: Choose "Windows".
6) Color - Choose "Others".
7) Set Hue: 85; Sat: 90; Lum: 205
8) Then, click at "Add to custom colors", Next, "OK".
9) Done for desktop setting

Many people asked me ‘what to play’ in Macau instead of Casino? There are some historical and Macau significant places to go actually. As we know, Macau belonged to Portuguese before year 1999, only return back to China. Therefore, the city contains the cultures of Portuguese and Chinese. Besides that, many friends asked me ‘why didn’t go Hong Kong?’… emm…just 2 words ‘went before’. Hehe.. There are some places we went in Macau for these 2 days.

~Macau Family Trip 2007 (Episode 1 - Macau return)

I’m back again… back to Macau with my family. In year 2005, I had my family trip to China; in year 2006, I had my trip to Macau/HK/ShenZhen; in this year, I had my final family trip to Macau before my sister’s marriage. I really hope we’ll still have our next family trip to somewhere else together with my sister again. (may be with her baby too… keke.. )

In this trip, I was the one who suggested to book for Macau flight during Airasia Free ticket period. I remember at that time, I hardly accessed to airasia to get the free tickets due to crowded of people accessing the website. I tried from morning until mid night, still couldn’t get the free tickets. As I didn’t have internet access at home previously, I was continuing access to Airasia website in Cybercafe at night. At last, I could get about RM500 (include taxes) per person. Emm… still consider cheap. :P

Yah, waiting for the days to come, finally it reached the date to Macau. I had a bad dream at the night before, that I booked the departure location wrongly, departed from Sabah to Macau (but not KLIA). And everyone blamed on me for that… wah.. so scary man. Quickly I checked and double confirmed it after woke up… Luckily, it was only a dream.

In our 4 days 3 nights trip, my dad’s friend from Macau helped us to get the hotel in Macau city. We stayed in Metropole Hotel (京都酒店), which is a 3 stars hotel. As the hotel is just renovated, so it looked new. It costs RM180 per night. We reached Macau Airport in the evening. We were very surprised to find that the runway was floating on the sea and during the descent, it felt like we were sliding down right into the water.

~Team building in Genting Highland

I have received some of the ‘complaint’ from my friends, saying that I had never been updating my blog for quite some time. Hehee… What reason should I give this time? :P Emm… “busy?”, excuse expired. “Modeless?”, emm… yes, this’s the reason. It’s because I need to prepare for both of my Genting and Macau trip on May and June. So, I will update my blog, sharing my interesting experience from the trips.

Most of us have been to Genting highland, spending time in theme park, casino and starbucks. Haha… while I was studying in cyberjaya, I remember that fong fong and his friends sometimes brought me up to Genting just to have a cup of coffee at starbucks, to release stress (excuse). This time, I went to Genting again not just to have a cup of coffee, but having my company, altera’s team building activity for 2 days 1 night.

This is the first time to experience team building in Genting. At first I was still considering whether wanted to join this rush trip for the short period, 2 days 1 night. As the trip was fully sponsored, department budget was allocated for the trip, I had made up my mind to take the opportunity to get increase the relationship with my colleagues (excuse again). What to do during the 5 hours journey from Penang to Genting? Yes, movie.

Watching “Heart of Greed 溏心風暴”hk movie series

During the team building, at first, I felt a bit of funny and embarrass to rush from a location to another inside Genting theme park. Everyone seemed to be staring and laughing for our funny reaction. But in the end, I was just thinking of enjoy the game fully without caring the others perception, and finally we won. Yeah.

Besides of enjoying ourselves in Genting theme park, we were arranged by a buffet dinner in First world hotel. The food was delicious, it included Chinese, Malay, Western, Japanese and other cuisine sections to pick for our preferable food.

Most of us usually will think that futsal is mostly played by guys. But this time, girls show their power in futsal as well. Big claps to 3 girls representative from my department, Software to join the futsal match organized by altera.

There would be 4 teams from girls; and more than 10 teams from guys. Each team contains 5-6 person. These are the guys group from my department as well.

From their tension appearance, it clearly told that the picture was taken before the match. 6 of them are not arranged in the same team, but 3 MMU vs 3 ??? (mixture of UM and UTM).

And I, would be… ‘the camera gal’ of this match. I hope to join too, but I am still not that well-trained enough to join the match. Is it an excuse? Yes, obviously.

~Phantom of the opera live show in Singapore

After i went to [the sound of music] opera show on 22nd Mac, 2005 (2 years ago). I started to fall in love to those opera show. After watching the movie of "the phantom of the opera", again I fall in love to this movie since last 2 years. I watched it twice in the cinema, bought their sound track and keep their collection. Special thanks to Ah De, my friend who introduced me this nice movie. Since that moment, I'm always waiting to get a chance to watch their live opera show if it's held in Malaysia.

Feeling so happy to know that the show would be played in Asia this year. Regret to tell that unfortunately the show is only held in Singapore, but not in Malaysia. Anyway, it's considered a good news to me and I will bring my dream comes true. Thanks to Chee Seong for organising the trip to watch this lovely show in Singapore with my best friend, Ice.

Didn't write blog for a few weeks already... why? :P because busy for work + vacation... That's what people always said "you must enjoy what you earn, to reward yourself".... hehe. That's called **life** Come on, life's short...

Last 2 week, I went to Titi Kerawang Waterfall in the island with my MMU seniors, Poh Yee and friend (Motorola), and Zhi Feng (Intel).. such a MNF (Multinational friends) who're from different multi nation companies. :P
Not much of us heard about this place, that was our first time to be there. Titi Kerawang Waterfall is located at 20 minutes drive from Batu Ferringi. We will sure pass through this place in the midway of Penang round island journey.

In the beginning for the journey, we took breakfast at Relau. During breakfast, our conversation topic was all about working life, our boss, our salary and etc. We blamed and praised about our work life... hehe... Because we were not fully release ourself from stress yet, our mind was still staying at work. :P

yeah... finally we reached here after 30 minutes "simple hiking" to this place.

In this fresh environment, we were no longer talking about the working stuff. We became part of this environment, released our mind, talked about jokes, activities and did some funny act... :P

When we were in year 1992, my youngest sister was only 2 year-old, and i was 8 year-old, my elder brother and sister were 2 and 4 years respectively elder than me. In this Chinese New Year, after I came back to the island, I was thinking that this year I sure missed the chance to stopover [Dong Zen Temple] in Jenjarum, KL. I remember that every year for sure I would visit to their lantern festival. Because of their beautiful lantern decoration, I have started to fall in love to camera. That’s the reason I love to take photos, especially during night scene.

This year, although I missed the chance to visit [Dong Zen Temple], but that was great that I found one place in the island which is filled with lantern as well… I feel so happy to be there… it’s such as my dream place, the Lantern Festival in Kek Lok Si 极乐寺. Another new place for me that worth to spend my time over there, enjoy viewing the lights and beautiful scene. I could say that, it’s such a waste for those who’re staying in the island but never been there. Hehee… here I sincerely share some photos to promote a bit about the place.

4. Eat

Delicious food, snack and sweet drinks... that always cause me become fatter and fatter during cny. I usually give an excuse for myself which “Chinese New Year’s only once a year, never mind la… keep fit after that o…” Hahaha… Anyway, we must drink more water, or else it’s easier to get sick under the hot sun and ‘hot’ food.

Lastly, that’s the most favorite activity most of us will play during cny..

5. Playing cards

We play it only once a year… I happy, u happy, everyone happy.. :P But anyway, I have not much luck for this year… or else I won’t be here writting blog… I’ll be somewhere else playing the card, testing my luck…

For this year Chinese New Year, I spent time equally for my family and friends. I felt so happy to gather back all my ‘old’ friends, especially my secondary school friends. Although it has already about 5 years getting out from secondary school, we still appreciate the friendship between us. During this year’s cny, we changed our gathering place from my house to Ah Woo and Ngai Lee’s house.

After getting back to the island... I visited Wai Ying in Butterworth. Felt so happy that to meet with her again... but in opposite felt sorry to wy's dog. Because of me, wy has to tie her cute active dog up... :P pity...

Surprise that I still had another cny visit tour in the island. :) To visit my colleagues' house.

This year's Chinese New Year celebration is filled with colours and happiness... so i was getting lazy and tired back to work after cny... :) Besides that, i'm waiting patiently for the return of Ice... who is enjoying her trip in China to avoid angpows... :P Anyway, a small wish to everyone,

Chinese New Year arrives, everyone of us are feeling so fresh and happy… '人逢喜事精神爽' happy to gather with family, relatives and 'old' friends (and new friends also..), happy to eat, and happy to play with 'different kind of games' .. (you know, I know)

According to Chinese culture, it's important to gather the whole family to have a reunion lunch/ dinner the day before Chinese New Year. That's the reason to cause traffic jam everywhere.

For my reunion dinner, we were taking vege in one of the Vegetarian Restaurant in Ipoh.

After all, during Chinese new year, most of us will do the same… such as..

1. The most importance, get the angpow first…

As I start joining to the industry, that's my turn to 'pretend married' preparing 3 angpows for dad, mum and my cute youngest sister. But still worth, cause in the end, I got 3 angpows back with the greater amount, from my dad, mum and elder sister. Hehehe… smart investment.

2. Play with the 'lion' during they danced

My house's lions… :P hehehe… cute?

Nowadays, people won't scare of the lions or just watch the lion dance performance aside. But this year is different, many relatives was learning each other to 'touch the lion' during they danced… aiks.. pity lion.

3. Then, visit friends and relatives

It always sound boring to us every year, cause we're not visiting our own friends, but visiting our parents' friends. In our parents and friends' conversation, they like to focus on their children, talking about children's education, job, future opportunity and etc. This scenario always happens in our family almost every year.

~Visit to the Eye On Malaysia

Have been to Eye on Malaysia before? On the 1st of Feb '07, i was brought by my ex Uni-mate, visited to the Eye on Malaysia in Titiwangsa, Kuala Lumpur.

There were totally 8 of us joining the visit. Really thanks to 7 of my good friends were willing to give face on my coming even though you all had to work in the next morning.

"Eye on Malaysia" Ferris wheel is the biggest Ferris wheel in Asia, welcoming tourists from difference country celebrating "Visit Malaysia 2007", Malaysia’s 50 years of Nationhood. It’s just officially opened since 7th Jan ’07. The ticket costs RM15 per-person, or one gondola RM 100 which can locate 8 people. It’s opened from 10am to 11pm, but sometimes it extends to 12am, depends on the crowd. The Ferris wheel has 60m high with 42 gondolas, which can see the view of whole KL, with the total journey 12 minutes.

In my opinion, the view of KL is just considered normal because of many tall buildings covering each other. But the gondola is stable enough to allow Ice to jump inside, she really did that in a sudden, scary man… Before going there, I did some research which there has the toilet issues. Visitors hardly find toilet in the park, they have to walk for far to get to the toilet. So, we knew that and I forced them took turn to the toilet before going. Besides that, it was difficult to get the parking space too.

Besides of riding the Ferris wheel, there do have the "Art of Firework" and "The theatre of Water" presenting. We missed the chance of seeing the firework because government limited presenting it only on Friday night to Sunday night due to the complaint by nearby residents. From the others’ comment, they mentioned that the firework was excellent. There was not the kind of firework that presenting during New Year eve, but it was like musical firework presenting in Disney land. Unfortunately, it's chanceless as the last day of firework presenting was until last Sunday only. Sad..

About "The theatre of Water", it’s a screening of amazing images and colourful lighting effects on four difference screen from the surface of the lake. No comment about that. :) Other than that, you can ride the horse (RM2 per-person) and the carriage (per-person) with the low rate.

~Penang Life~Altera Annual Dinner

On the 15 of December, I joined Altera Annual Dinner in Equatorial Hotel, Penang

The theme of the annual dinner was "Wild Wild West". Every Alterian decorated themselves with difference style of costume in the cowboy century. Every speaker of the night learnt a word -> "Yih Hah" and putting it into their speech.

A group of us, all Penang Alterian, about 700 attendees.

Me again.. :P hehehe... I joined as one of the dancers in the performance. :P

Many of my friends said that was so hard to recognize me in the annual dinner, did I? :) May be the look of mine looked so difference before and after make up and hair set.. My make up was a bit thick because of joining the stage performance...:P Anyway, me is still me, I'm still always the same. :P

~Penang Life ~ TeamBuilding in Pangkor Island

So long didn't blog... :P hehehe.. "zy and sy" = lazy + busy... :)

On the 9th of Dec, I attended my company teambuilding in Pangkor island.

During the first day, after reached Pangkor Island from Penang, we went on for our 1st part of team building activity which was Jungle Trekking + Rafting

For Jungle Trekking, it was about 90 mins trekking up & down the hill to a secluded beach. In my opinion, this protected jungle is safe enough to be hiked, not as dangerous as i had been through previously.

For the Rafting, teamwork effort is needed to build a raft with wooden poles, tyre tubes & rope. The entire teams must raft back to the resort’s beach after the jungle trekking. It took approximate 3 hours for both activities.

Winner of Rafting.. here we were.. my group "Quartus" won as the winner of rafting among 3 other groups.

During night time, most of us (new hire graduated) was having our free activity, "curi-curi" going out of Teluk Dalam Resort. We rent 5 motorcycles, rode around the island, to the beach, to mamak store, and to some haunting place... (scary).. :P

In the next early morning, we went through team building part II, which was flying fox and high robe single travel. Sound great and challenging...

For the Flying Fox, we needed to slide down 10 meters above the ground strapped-up in a harness hooked to 2 cables. The distance is almost 100 meters. Luckily, everyone was equipped with a safety helmet.

Although there was a safety helmet provided to us, but... it seemed not suitable for me. :( even worse to have that..

High Rope is the most challenging activity among all the team building activities. One person to walk across one single cable 10 meter above the ground with ropes hanging 2 meters apart as the only support for balance (like Tarzan). Like this o...

They encouraged everyone of us to join this activity, but still some of us don't dare to try it.. may be it's really hard to imagine how we can walk across a single cable which 10 meter above the ground..

But... I would like to have a try... :) My turn here..

On the weekend of 4th Nov and 5th Nov, I met 3 starts from HK in Ipoh & Penang.

During my last trip back to Ipoh, I met 2 TVB artists who came from HK in Ipoh Perade. They are 陈豪 & 黄宗泽, most of us are probably know who are they. The purpose they came all the way from HK to promote themselves participant for the coming ASTRO Drama Award. Yah. They’re so cute and very friendly. They had a close contact with us, played game and distributed poster to the fans. It was easier for me to grep their photos, rather than [Louis Koo 古天乐]

On 11th of November, I was brought to Motorola DnD Beach Dinner

Many of my friends surprised to see me in the event of Motorola DnD Beach Dinner in Equatorial Hotel, Penang. Most of them thought I’m currently either having practical or permanently working in Motorola. But some of them were wondering of never meeting me before in Motorola… hahaha…

Yah, as there was an extra entrance ticket, my ‘dai ga jie’ (big sister) Poh Yee brought me along to attend their dinner. I get to know some of the new friends who introduced by Poh Yee and friends. Surprise that I met some of my MMU ‘old’ friends there, such as Mei Kuan and Cheau Yin.

Being silent for about 2 months, finally, i get back to my blog again. Didn't write for these 2 months, lots of memories to be shared. Wondering what was I busying during these previous days, nothing special, lots of activities that had occupied most of my time. Such as, being to Motorola Annual dinner, teambuilding in pangkor island, performing in altera annual dinner and etc. Many photos would be shared in the coming blog, to keep my blog alive.

I have been staying in this island for about half year, slowly i get used to the new and unfamiliar environment, not feeling as bored as i thought previously. Good to be surrounded by some of my new friends and old friends that 'looked after' me on these days. Working in Altera is just like another kind of life in University, to gain difference knowledge with a gang of colleagues. They're good, as most of our first job started in altera, so our mind is not so polluted by the sensuality world outside, but full of dream and creativity.

On 29th of October, I was brought to Bukit Bendera in Penang.

~Langkawi Vacation (Phase II)

After settle 2 most importance requirement (transportation + accommodation), we proceed to go round Langkawi island. Firstly, we went to the Oriental Village, taking cable car up to the hill.

There was me, in the cable car.

We reached to the top of the hill, 700 meter from sea level. The air was fresh and cold, felt comfortable as in Cameron Highland. Finally, I could fully release and relax myself from working community.

There was a big bridge in the middle of the hills, it needed about 20 minutes walking down to the middle of hill, to reach the big bridge.

And, that was me; finally, I reached to the bridge, imagining how difficult I would when got up back to the top of the hill.

After that, we went to the popular place in Langkawi – Langkawi Underwater world. I had been there in few years ago, nothing special to spot, but he said he never been there before, so…

~Langkawi Vacation (Phase I)

Selamat Hari Raya and Deepavali to Malaysia! Both of these Raya and Deepavali festivals are always the happiest moment not only for our Malay and Indian friends, and also for us, to enjoy the long holiday (although we are not going to celebrate). In this year, both of the festivals happened together, so we had a long holiday from Saturday until the coming Wednesday.

Yah, most of my friends (almost all) went back to their lovely hometown to enjoy the long holiday with family respectively. It caused traffic jam in either highway or town. People spread out away from KL to either North or South of Malaysia. Most of my friends hardly bought the bus tickets from KL. It sold out since a month before.

Some friends wondered where I had been during the long holiday. I wasn’t in my Ipoh hometown, I was in the Island; but not in Penang Island, I was in Langkawi Island, to enjoy my lovely vacation. The main purpose we went there is to fully and totally relax ourselves without any working burden. We took ferry from Penang to Langkawi; then back from Langkawi to Kuala Perlis after a day.

After 2 and 45 minutes of ferry journey, finally we reached Langkawi. There were crowded of tourists, just like us. The first thing we needed to get was sure a car, to solve our transportation problem. It was too bad that we were “cropped” by those car rent company, they raised up the car rental up to hundred for a day even we had booked the car before that. Well, we had no choice, cause we needed the car.

Then, we gonna solve our next problem, accommodation. Following the direction from the map, we drove to the hotel which we booked via online the days before. We were so scared to be charged with festival rate again by the hotel management. Luckily, they didn’t, they were so nice that allocated a sea view room for us with the reasonable rate. ~Steamboat Lunch at FLAME

Being to FLAME’s Steamboat at Crystal Point before? On the 16th of this month, I was brought by my colleagues there for our lunch.

There were 2 types of ordering, first choice was slide order each difference type of cuisines; and the other choice was steamboat buffet style, RM 18+ per person. For sure we chose for buffet style, more worth.

Their service is difference with those steamboat buffet restaurants while others normally serve the entire buffet cuisine on the long table aside, and people used to walk towards it to get the food. In the restaurant, you would see most people stand up, walking here and there to choose and pick their desire food from the table. [Example]

For FLAME steamboat restaurant, they let us to choose our desire cuisine from the menu. After picking the list, there would be ‘someone’ (waiter/waitress) to serve us by putting all those cuisine into the steamer in professional way. What we just did was.. sat down, relaxed, and waited to be served.

Although the price per head is not much difference as those other steamboat restaurant, but the services of both is difference. Some of us might love to pick our desire cuisine on our own, and enjoy putting in the cuisine ourselves; while some of us might love to sit down and enjoy being served. About me, which one I like? Both.. :P as long as I can eat whatever I wish.

There were we, gonna thanks to Keng Wee, Yeong Jie, Su, Mun, Hong Lee, David, Shen Joon, Wai Loon, Kai Lin, Lee Shyuan, Saw Leng and lastly my great buddy – Lee Ping for spending time to celebrate birthday with me in Penang. It’s also my very first time having my birthday in Penang, such a great memorable moment of mine. Cheers~

~Memories in Ipoh…

These 2 weeks, I was quite busy for many stuffs… so, I didn’t blog for these long. Anyway, now I’m much more freedom, and this weekend, I stay back in the island.

Remember back my days in Ipoh during the last 2 weeks, to celebrate mine and my cousin’s birthday. In Ipoh, I met quite a number of friends, such as my amc gang (Tong & Pei Leng), my ‘net’ friend (Keong), and my ex-Jusco colleague (Jong Cheng). Although i stayed in ipoh for only 1 to 2 days, but I felt so satisfied to gather all my beloved ‘old’ friends, miss them so much.

For sure I never forget you all, my ex-secondary schoolmates, Tong, Pei Leng, Woo, Ling Fan and little ngai lee. Unfortunately, there were only 2 of them turned out for the gathering, cause the other 3 were in KL and Sabah. But I felt so happy for their attending. We celebrated birthday together as our birthday was near to each other. Tong is in 12th, Woo is in 14th and I’m in 16th of October. Libra group of us, but only Tong turned up on that day; Woo was having her industrial training in KL, unable to come back every weekend.

Not every secondary school friends like us can last for these long (about 5 years since graduated from secondary school), we should appreciate our relationship more. Wish us friendship forever and keep in touch always.

After that, I rushed back to attend my cousin’s 21st birthday steamboat celebration in Good Times Restaurant, Ipoh.

She is younger than me about a year, and her birthday is near mine too, 15th of the month. I remember that we used to celebrate birthday together when we were in primary school (about 10 years more ago), with both of our families, having our enjoyable birthday party together. Now, we are not a cute kid anymore, but we young and mature lady; not running here and there noisy and naughty like a child, but sitting down chit chatting together quietly like an adult.

Today, it isn't a good day of mine... I was so blur... and blur...

7.30am
When I prepared to get out to work, i found that my key was still in my room.... and my room was locked... aiks, how come. "How am I going to drive without my car key?" The first thing i did, was searching any unused "card" from my purse. Unluckily, I just found all the important cards there, such as IC, driving license, atm cards, credit cards… I looked around, and found some expired brochures on the TV rack. I tried to use that to open the door, but still failed. Finally, I had no choice to ask for the duplicate key from my landlord’s daughter who stayed at the difference block, to open the door.

8.00am
I reached to the office at 8am sharp with maximum driving speed. After I parked my car far from the building (due to late), I took out the company’s access card to scan the building’s door, suddenly I found that I lost my access card. Aiseh… how come.. While waiting for “somebody” to scan the door for me, I was refreshing where was the last scene I saw the card. But I still forgot where I lost my card. After calling to my landlord, she couldn’t’ find my card in my room as well. Lastly after breakfast, I decided to search around in my car again. When I reached to the car, I found that I dropped it outside of my car, nearby my car’s door. It’s called lucky or unlucky…

There are still whole day of mine to spend for today, I hope everything will be alright. Hope it really won’t be an unluckily day of mine. Cheer~~

~our outing at Bukit Genting Hill Leisure park

Monday, we were so excited planning to have our lovely dinner on the hill accompanied with beautiful sunset... imagine that would be such a romantic scene. Hmm... not bad, since somebody would voluntee to fetch us up as my cutey kelisa car couldn't reach up to the hill, I replied their email with an "on".

On the straight road from the fly-over passed through Bayan Lepas airport, it reached to Teluk Kumpar(a village). After passing through Teluk Kumpar and Batu Maung's junction, we followed the signboard of "Balik Pulau" till the end of the straight road . Then, we went up to the hill, until we saw this sighboard (below) on our left.

The signboard was so small, but we couldn't miss it as it is the only entrance to Bukit Genting hill. Well, "luckily" among 3 cars, there was only 1 car didn't miss the junction, the others two, gonna made a U-turn, to come back to the junction. After that, our journey from that 1.2 km was so steepy. The road was oblique, now only i know why they insisted not allowing my 'cutey kelisa' go up to it.

This is Keng Wee's car, and I was sitting in the Yeong Jie's car. This photo was shooted using "drive mood" from YJ's car angle. After 1.2km drive, lastly we reached up to Bk Genting Hill. Wau, i like the fresh and cold environment... just like at Genting Highland.

A group of us which consisted of (from left) Keng Wee, Kun Mun, Yeong Jie, Hong Lee, Me, Tian Tee, Kai Lin, Jonie, Saw Leng, David, Jia Pin and his gf. Everyone was so excited shooting photos here and there, hoping not to miss up any nice scene. But still the camera photo's quality was not compatible with how we viewed this beautiful scenery using our clear and bright eyes.

We had our Thai style dinner here. When we was eating, we could view the sunset at the west of penang island, with the cold and fresh weather.

Since i was flu and sore throat previously before getting there, at the end, i got cold in such weather, and feeling sick as well.. May be i should steal a day to take MC and have some good rest at home in the next day.

~Happy mooncake festival !~!

I were brought to Mooncake festival yesterday at PISA, Penang Bayan Baru. There were a lot of programmes there, such as lantern perade, display of giant lanterns, multicutural dance performances, chinese orchestra, magic show, lion dance and chinese mask changing act. It was great that at least there was a chance for us to celebrate mooncake festival although we are far from our dearest family.

PISA (Penang International Sports Arena) is a suitable to organize such big event like mooncake festival. It's because PISA is a large multi-purpose indoor and outdoor venue in Penang. In that night, the place was decorated with difference kind of giant lanterns and some lights decoration. I have took some pictures of it, but it was too bad that i didn't bring my camera tripod out. So, it was unable to spot with the perfect shoot. It was challenging in testing out my "hand stability" to take the scenes.

There was one of the giant lanterns. Home sweet home, i miss home.

Besides that, there was the "biggest ice carving lantern with 3 metres x 6 metres in Malaysia". It would be entered into Malaysia Book of Records (MBR).

We saw many cute, playful and naughty children when we toured around the whole place. But she was the cutest one... a photogenic baby..

Last friday, altera organized Let's chill party at Parkroyal hotel, Penang Batu Ferringi. All of the employees were invited to attend this enjoyable party. There are activities such as standing BBQ buffet, game booths, beach games, karaoke, and disco party.

o.. here am I !~! We reached here at around 4pm something.. Cheese to the camera, Cheese to the sea !~!

~A bowling challenge - leaning steps

Last Friday noon, I was brought out by colleagues during lunch time, to challenge our "bowling skill"... it's considered a challenge game for them mostly, but me as begineer, that was a learning game. mm... first of all, the game was held during the lunch time but not off time. Funny stuff huh… Well, don’t know since when, people tend to date out to challenge bowling on every Friday noon, they said Friday Lunch Time = Pray Time (malay) = Play Time (Chinese).. oo.. alright, just follow.

Here we are, Wai ying and me~

We played 2 games here, everyone seemed perform differently in both games. For me, I was not "touch" on the bowling ball for more than a year... before that, I was very good in bowling ... but where the ball swapping to the drain (malay: longkang) every times.

Everyone of us have difference style on playing the bowling, using left hand or right hand, and using difference weight of the balls. Let’s everyone’s style!~!

Jiunn Wen (Alternative name: Kenas, UPM Grad, 24 years old)
He was playing good, but there is a big score difference between his first game and second’s. May be, he wasn’t energetic enough for the 2nd game? Or… he was NOT CONCENTRATING.. thinking back to work.. sigh…

Joshua Hui (Alternative name: Chee Chin (c2), MMU Grad, 21+ years old)
A fast learner, he played worst in the first game. Reason given: Don’t know the general technique to play the game. But he gained high mark in the 2nd game after being taught by our "sifu" (master). Cheers to him…

Yeong Jie, Khoo (UTM Grad, 23 years old)
An average player, he’s good in every difference on spot, but not the best. Anyway, he grasps every technique well in bowling.

Wai Ying (MMU Grad, 22 years old)
A good player, sometimes strike, but sometimes "kena longkang". Anyway, she can carry heavy ball, and she said that heavy ball is good in focusing on the centre. She scored strike straight in the last game. Cheers to her..!~!

Jess (Alternative name: "Me", MMU grad, 21+ years old)
A bowling begineer, from the picture, u can see that my legs was in the wrong position. Supposedly I should stepped in the opposite direction of my legs when I threw the ball. But after taught by our "sifu"(master), i could gain better mark in 2nd game.

Last but not least, the "sifu" (master) of our bowling challenge. He was part time bowling player and also a part time teacher for us (basically me and chee chin). He played 5 straight times strike in the game. Cheers to him !!~!~~!!

From the game, Keng Wee taught me much in how to focus the ball, throw the ball and instruction in each step to play bowling. Hehehe… I hope I’ll be better in the next time. Cheers…

~my colleague's & my aunty's wedding

Last Friday, I was requested by my mum to go back Ipoh from the island, to attend one of my aunty's wedding. She's actually not that old like 'an aunty', she's just elder than me some years... ok.. just went back to "eat" in the wedding dinner.

At night, when I just got off from my friend's car who fetched me back, then I was brought by my parents out again... feeling blur... they brought me to the aunty's house to eat fried mee hoon. As chinese wedding's culture, bride and bridegroom will invite their relatives and friends to each of their house to eat fried mee hoon the night before their wedding.

me: emm.. i think not many ppl know about it, it's called xxx
aunty: huh? my husband is working there also !~!
me: (Surprise) u mean the bridegroom is working there too??
aunty: yaya.. is he your boss??
me: oh.. nope... (luckily)

Small small world, before that, i remember I was laughed by my colleagues, saying that, "juniors have no chance to attend the wedding... hahaa... no free trip". But... tomorrow i gonna meet them again with difference identity to the wedding party... sigh....

Many friends asked me, y I wish to continue learning piano music... as I'm not young like secondary school child. Some of them said it's wasted of time, some said it's useless for the future, some said it's wasted of money. Some even fell so curious y a technical person will turn out to learn something that is totally not related to her job (art vs logic).

I just have one reason, not that I have lots of money to spend, not that I'm too freedom till to spend up some time to learn something... actually it is a dream of mine... a wish that was made since 5 years ago...

When i was in form 5, I got my grade 8 in piano practical and grade 7 in piano theory. I felt so lucky to pass the exam as I'm actually not doing very well in piano music all the while. But I like music, some how i hoped to further my music skill in university. Lastly i failed to do so, because of financial and timing problem. In the end, I registered to MMU to take IT course. Always, I wait for the chance that I can come back into music again in the future, may be after my studies.

And now, it's an apportunity for me... to continue learn it up.. to archieve it... I would like to take 2-3 years time to archive a diploma in piano leaning in this island. But still, there're a lot of challenges for me to overcome. First of all, I need to review back my grade 8 books after stopped learning it for 5 years.

and, too bad I have forgotten a lot of piano theory that learned previously... need time, need effort, need support...

Besides that, although spending time is not a big problem for me to practise the songs, even i can say that i have more time to practise than previous days, but spending money is a problem for me. It's needed to spend 300+ per month to have only 4 lessons in a month, each lesson one hour. Mum and dad, now only I know you both spent so much money to lead me in a music world... appreciating...

and some how, most people would ask me, "How are you going to practise without a piano?"... emm.. it's hard to answer... too bad, I just have this.

a 72 keys piano keyboard, without any touching express. I think, I gonna pay some money to rent a studio to practise. I believe that friends' and family's support would be the most worthful for me... to continue learning it without giving up. Hopefully, one day when we meet up, I won't tell you that I have stopped learning it anymore... :) cheer~~*

~The scene preparation completion of the HK film 《老易的故事》 / 《色 . 戒》

As we know, the movie of "Samsara" 《色 . 戒》 has changed to the name of 《老易的故事》 because it has the exactly same chinese title with a novel written by Cheong (张爱玲) . Emm... i have not much idea, but we can refer to more detail in this [chinese news].

Last Wednesday to Saturday, the film director Li An (导演:李安) started to shoot his film at some areas in Ipoh city included Anshou road (郑安寿路) and Ipoh old town. Therefore, the location preparation and scene decoration had been 100% complete at the day before instead of 80% complete that stated in my [previous blog].

Well, the scene decoration was sure more realistic to 1970s century than previously (if compared to the pictures showed in my previous blog). I like the street decoration with the old sign boards, especially in night view.

Besides that, I have found out the reason they chose this Anshou Street to shoot the film. It is because the rental was cheap as there is nobody more staying in the shop lots for quite some long time ago. Those residents shifted one by one… why was it so? .. you know, I know ... we know…

After a day of the film shooting completed, the signboards were pulled down and the place was cleared, backing to the normal “haunted” place as previously... hopefully i didn't shoot something "extra" in the photos ... (scary)

~Meeting with Louis Koo 古天乐影迷会

That day I was told by my sister that Louis Koo was coming to Jaya Jusco in Ipoh city, to promote the OSIM product. He, as a brand image for OSIM massage chair product, coming to a few cities in Malaysia besides of promoting the product, but he had signature signing section with his fans. So, I brought my sister there, to see this handsome and cute guy.

When we reached, wau.. there were crowded of people...

At first, we went up to upper stair, hopefully could see him better, but... we were blocked by layers of audiences. Well, we went downstair again, better a bit, just could see him from far, but still being blocked by some tall fellas.. Still, we tried our best tend to make ourselves taller... but, just can see this:

Better? At last, every of his fans who stood in front of the stage, rushed up to the stage to grab his signature in the signature signning section... kekeke... at this moment, our turn to walked to the front of the stage, to take his pictures in nearer distance from the stage.
Yah.. he looks smart and dark... well, we'll patiently wait for Louis Koo's new coming HK movie

Nowadays, some young gals loves to show their cutey and beauty faces to the camera.. 1, 2, 5 and chik chak... haha.. as how I have been doing during my secondary school (not only me, may be...) and ... university life ? (feel paiseh to see back the previous me).

Samsara <<色 . 戒>> is the movie that is directed by Li An (导演:李安), which is going to be published soon (know when is it?). The actors involved in this movie are Lee Hom and Tony Leong. Details: http://ent.sina.com.cn/f/lustcaution/index.shtml

The First stop for the film shooting will be in Malaysia Ipoh city, from 6th Sept till 8th Sept. During this period, the local Anshou Road (郑安寿路) will be closed at difference time slot, to ensure the film is shooted smoothly.

Home sweet home... My hometown, Ipoh is chosen as a place to shoot the film as it is Malaysia's third largest city and the oldest building within the Old City with the narrow streets. The scene decoration needs to be done to prepare to turn the scene into a love for the last century, the1930s.

I had been to Anshou Road (郑安寿路) to shoot some pictures last weekend. It was still under construction of the preparation progress. I just stayed there a while, had a look on it and finally shooted some photos.

They put on the 1930s old sign board such as 聚宝堂, 蒋记鞋店.. and can u see the old "traffic light" (伞型交通灯)? It really makes us reflect the feeling of coming back to 1930s century.

Does the 南丰银号 is the current "Southern Bank" in 1930s century? haha

Our Friday’s Penang Beach Dinner..

Finally, it reaches to the last day of the week.. waiting always for arrival of weekend. Tonight, a Friday night, Kennyd brought us (me, Kai Lin and Saw Leng) to the Malay stalls near the beach for dinner. Well, the night scenery was nice, and the environment was good especially for gathering… the food was really delicious… Tonight, it added in my memorable album in the Island…

Our Dinner at Kocha Taiwanese Delight Restaurant, Penang.

This is a very good place for citizen to relax our mind in the tension environment. A Taiwan style restaurant that is really suitable for us to calm our feeling and peace our mind. The restaurant’s decorated with full of small and exquisite thingy (such as aquarium, softy light, and Buddha statues) accompanied with some soft music surrounded. I would rate it as 4 star restaurant.

How about the foods? The price is reasonable and the food is delicious. You can choose either to eat mini Taiwanese steamboat (suit for 2-3 people), or order some main dishes with rice, or some individual sets are available as well. You can’t miss out the Taiwanese tea, it was so good in taste. For us, we had ordered Drunken Chicken, Brussels Sprout, Mini Spicy Pork Steamboat, and Moli Dragon Ball tea.

After attended friends' convocation for 3 difference years, finally these's my turn to get involve into convocation event.

Well, not as wonderful as i thought, not as cool as we thought.. In the morning, just wait, wait and wait, wait for the moment to get up of the stage.. it made us so boring.. don't know what to do besides of "waiting". After all, not so cool (cold), it's so hot.. Hot plus pretending Happy, to shooted photos with friends. Hehehe.. anyway, as how William Hung always said "I have no regret at all". It's real. It's the only chance I could meet all of my beloved friends, all of my caring and mindful friends. It was the most happenning day while i was being alone in the Island for this 2 months.

Thanks all my friends to attend the convocation 2006. Thanks for those friends kept calling and finding me surround MMU while i was lost my direction. Thanks for u all for the lovely graduation gift to me.. I will never forget the memorable moment that happens in my life, the only one.

My evening with Jim Brickman in genting

Last week was a very great week of mine.. where am i going? haha.. i wasn't in penang.. but I was back to the happenning city's hill --> genting.. having an evening with Jim Brickman, John, Kak Ji, Phoble in Genting Arena of Stars.

Jim Brickman, best known for his original songs, like the chart-topping hits “Valentine,” “The Gift” and “Peace,” has established an international reputation for his creative collaborations with many of the entertainment industry’s most gifted musical artists. It seems not to be good days for me recently. Am I still not used to the new living environment here? or due to tension in my job.. ? I'm wondering.. we need to work hard to earn money for our life? or we need to work to occupied our time in life? Although I like my job, but i'm tired and sometimes boring to the work. May be it's because of facing the same thing daily that made me dizzy and boring. Am I going to use to the 'working life' soon? I hope so...

It seems that island is not a good place for me ... as I miss all my beloved friends in KL, included my best friends Ice, Christine, Tannie, Femy, Helen, Sing Hui, YK and etc.. and my lovely family in Ipoh.. Therefore, everytimes when I get back to Ipoh, I feel so warm... not hoping to get back to the island.

I have some hobbies, I love to play the piano... I have a nice touching of piano in Ipoh.. but I have a small feelingless piano keyboard in the lsland. It hardly let me express out my feeling, enjoying to play the piano. I miss my Uni life's Cyberjaya STAD's digital piano. Although it is only a digital piano, but it's good enough for me to play with feeling. That's the reason I wish to learn playing the piano back after stopped for a few years. I hope i get chance.

On the other hand, I love to take photographs using my olympus small camera in the nice places especially night scene. But unluckily i get no chance again after I work in the island. I hardly get any nice scenery in the island. Thinking back the memorable moment while i was studying in cyberjaya, I used to drive to putrajya to take pictures of night scenery with 'someone'. Now, I'm alone, sometimes uncoveraging myself to get out of my room because of the tiredness after work.

Lastly, I love blogging, and sharing my words and pictures to my friends. As I like chatting with friends, sometimes it hardly to get me true friend with the similar perception and thinking in the island. May be most of them are still my new friends, not close enough to get close to heart. It's luckily that I still have my personal time to blog, even more time than the previous schooling life in blogging. Just wish to colour my life, sharing my words, and keeping in touch with all my beloved friends in KL and may be penang.

My First job

After enjoyed my happening holiday, spent so much money for the trip, finally, it’s the time for me to earn money… so that I would have saving to spend for my next trip.. haha.. one of my interest is taking pictures all around the place.

Where’am I now? Aiyoyo.. I’m in penang.. a bored place. As most of my best friends are in KL, and my beloved family is in Ipoh, so I have nobody in penang.. it makes me so bored… but the only thing I can do.. is put more effort in my new job, and enjoy as much during weekend in Ipoh/KL.. haha.. luckily it’s only 5 days work.

Why do I choose penang? Hmmm… it’s a very good company, I’m loving it and the job scope as well. That’s the reason to make me scarify my favorite place to join Altera in penang.

My memorable HK Trip

These’s only considered my “real” graduation trip to Hong Kong, Macau and Shen Zhen in 7 days, 7 nights (8/6/06 to 14/6/06). Don’t be confused I did make 7 days going to so many places, actually I mainly went to Hong Kong, but for Macau (only 2 days) and Shen Zhen (only 1 day).These was a budget trip with backpack style.. keke.. So, we didn't depended any of the tourist guide company, did not stick to any tourism package as well. What we had? Just a map, tourism information that “curi” from Matta Fair (in April) and some information found from internet. 4 of the survivors, that was me, Seong, Wai Lee and Soo.. spent a week time and explored HK together !!~~!! keke…

After this trip, if u ask me be a half-professional HK tourist guide and pay me some money, I wouldn’t mind to guide u and bring u to the interesting place in HK. Keke… and there’s a big advantage for four of us.. what’s it? that's WE KNOW CANTONESE. Don’t be jealous o.. language speaking is not a big problem for us. On the other hand, we can read Chinese too, so we wouldn't worry about the road sign.

Believe or not, we were not so mindful in preparing everything such as hotel booking, everday planed in the day previous. But we did book the AirAsia air ticket earlier, hehe.. as earlier was cheaper. Therefore, what could we do was just last minute thought, decided and action. May be these was called “ci gik” (exciting).. hehe..

These is our “last minute” time flow planning:
Day 1: KLIA – Macau
Day 2: Macau – HK
Day 3: HK (going to tourist spots) + New Territories
Day 4: Shen Zhen
Day 5: Dai Yu San + Yuen Long
Day 6: Disney Land
Day 7: HK – Macau – KLIA

Day 1: From KLIA, departed to Macau Airport

We took 3pm flight departed from LCCT, taking AirAsia flight from KL to Macau. As we booked the air ticket earlier (around April), we got the return ticket of RM450. The journey from KL - Macau took around 3 hours 40 minutes. Here we were .. :)

We reached Macau at around night time (around 7.30pm), we took dinner there.. our first dinner wasn't so nice.. although it was cheap. May be we didn't have any idea where to eat. We found a budget hotel there, put our luggage inside, and walked around Macau Street.

(2) Lisboa Casino - we played a while inside and won't around RM40.. :P

Day 2: Journey from Macau to Hong Kong

After took a rest in Macau, we took the step to go Hong Kong after taking breakfast. "LisBoa Egg Tart" (in cantonese: Bou Geng Dan Tak) is a very well-known delicious egg tart in Macau. As we tried out for our breakfast, it tasted very nice.. the most delicious egg tart that I ever ate.

After eating, we took ferry to go HK, passed by HK Imigration. Then, that would be the time for us to settle down while finding our "Hong Fat Hostel". It took us quite some time, asked for so many people, walked under the rain, then only found the hostel. It only made us realise ... our hard to be a backpacker.. :P After settle down, took a clean bath. We asked the manager of the hostel for any stall for teatime, here we were:

Although it looked so expensive, but it wasn't. That's what we thought the manager cheated us in the beginning, but realised he wasn't as bad as we thought. Haha.. tell u what, actually the manager does look like "ng hu" (a mmu FIT lecturer). We were thinking whether he is ng hu lost's twins brother. hehe..

In the same day, we walked around the street, shopped around area near tsim sha tsui. As HK's transportation's very convenient, we took light train for whole of our journey. At night, we spent there hanging in stalls at Wong Kok, Lui Yan Gai, and etc.

Day 3: Hong Kong Tour

In Hong Kong, the most important food that we must try out is "Dim Sum"... hehe.. tell you what, we got a place that's very famous in Dim Sim, how did we get the information? From what Wai Lee told us, the information was "curi-curi" copied out from MPH tourism's book. After they planed to copy more information, they was gotten caught by librarian..

(2) After ate, we continued our journey going to Central's Tai Ping Hill (Cantonese: Tai Ping San). There're a lot of huge and tall building at Central. The most people work there in HK. From the photo, there's one of the picture we had taken in Central.

In Tai Ping Hill, there's well-known wax house. I think most of us have heard about the wax house.

After eating our lunch there, we visited some famous places in New Territories (Cantonese: Sheng Gai)

Day 4: World Wide Visits in Shen Zhen

These's the day we turned out to go a day trip to Shen Zhen in China. As it was only a day trip, without staying there a night, we just been there to visit Shen Zhen's World of Windows (mandarin: She Jie Zhi Chuang). It descripted the small remarkable spots in each country of world wide, and built it in mini-size to experience reaching to those famous places. We took train, passed by imigration to the main land of China.

Day 5: Journey to Lantau Island

We planed on going to Lantau Island (cantonese: Lam Nga Dou) in Hong Kong, taking train to reach there, and coming back to HK Island by bus.

Before going there, we visited Hong Kong Exhibition Centre in HK Central. Previously, this place was used to take for the HK movie of Jackie Chan, named "New Police".

Some people told us, if we plan to go HK, must go Lantau Island to visit the Big Buddha (cantonese: Dai Fut). That day wasn't a great day because of the rainy weather. We took an hour of train to reach Lantau Island, and took bus reaching up to the hill.

After visited the Big Buddha, we took bus to go from Lantau Island to Yuen Long, passed through "Qing ma dai qiu", just to buy a famous biskuit (named: Lou Poh Beng). When we reached there, we asked people around to get the most famous shop to buy lou poh beng. Here we were:

Last but not least, we took train from Yuen Long back to Wong Kok after dinner, passed by some nice night street scene in HK.

Lastly, we shopped in Temple Street (Cantonese: Miu Gai). I bought some cheap and HK represented stuff from there too..

We came out again after took bath.. and went to the bar street in HK Central(cantonese: Lan Guai Fong) We drank and watched worldcup match with mak salleh(foreigners) over there.

Day 6: Our wonderful Disney experience in HK ~ Dream comes true

From my previous blog, I did put in some nice pictures of HK Disneyland copied from forwarded mail. As what the blog written, I made a dream to have chance to visit Disneyland once. So happy that my dream has comes true, finally I get the chance to visit HK Disneyland. We took the whole day enjoying our Disneyland magician world.

Day 7: Last Day of my trip

Finally, it came to my last day of the trip, we gotto take ferry back to Macau and appreciated our final day visiting some famous places in Macau.

Lastly, we finally got back to the small plane, taking the night plane back to our lovely country - Malaysia. From what I learnt from William Hung, “I have no regret to join the journey to HK trip”. Hope that I get chance to visit some other country again when I work.

My Grad Trip to Kelantan

I had been to Kelantan from 28/5 till 30/5, a 3 days 3 nights trip to there, brought by our dearest zebra leader (Lid Fung), Abby (Ah Bee) and Ah Keat.. :) Thanks to u all firstly, to bring us to such happy and enjoyable trip. These was also my very first time going Kelantan, taking 13 hours of train journey (KL -> Seremban -> Gemas -> Pahang -> Kelantan), and 8 hours of bus journey (Kelantan -> ??.. zzzz…?? -> KL). Although we took about a day for the time being from KL – Kelantan – KL, but all of us fell there was worth to be there.. cause we really had an enjoyable moment, spending moment with all of the friends of MMU DSG, and guided by our dearest DSG supervisor, Chee Onn. :P

29/5/06 (Monday) The very first day reached Kelantan finally after 13 hours of train journey at night from KL… sleepless.. :(

*~~First Day “Buddha Day"~~*

We mainly went to difference type of Buddhist temples.

So, we firstly were brought to visit “Sleepping Buddha” in Kelantan.

Secondly, we visited "Sitting Buddha".

Thirdly, the time for us to visit "Walking Buddha", it's so huge...

After visiting difference posture of buddha statues, all of us were feeling so hungry, and we were brought to eat Malay's Nasi Kandar.. wau... it was so delicious.. :) If you have chance coming to Kelantan, must have a try !!~~!!

(1) Must eat food: Purple rice (although it looks like blue) ... keke..

(2) Must drink: Soya !!~~!! (they said nice wo.. don't know.. keke.. no comment)

**~~2nd Day~~**

Let's skip out our 2nd day day time due to missed of photos showing. (So, DSG member must send to me even though i'll b in penang, ok?.. keke.. ) In the 2nd Day's night time, we had our delicious Thai food in a restaurant, named "Chiang Mai". The dinner was so delicious especially the fish with the special "kari"... I ate a lot.. keke..

You all sure wonder what’s MS Group, it’s a MMU IT major which has the full name as Multimedia System Group. It’s considered that normally we all normally won’t be so exciting to go for some many places in order to keep in touch of our friendship… but.. we did it right after our final exam last paper… went for so many places just have the same purpose: EAT & ENJOY.. hahaa… people sure think that MMU Cyber are foodless, so everyone of us suffer previously and release it in the end.

Everyone sure knows that FYP presentation is the exciting and happening moment to every final year students. The preparation for FYP is the toughest part for us also. Imagine that after everything about FYP, sure return of the time of the ‘real relaxing’ before going on my final.

We had our FYP Appreciation dinner in Alamanda, PutraJaya. Say thanks to Christine and Ice in co-operate with each other to make the project a success. Keke.. now is the time for party !! ~~!!

Today's 2 of my Melaka's friends birthday, sms them to wish them "Happy Birthday". Only I know that, I miss them so so much. So long I didn't keep in touch with them, so long I didn't msg them. By reading their blogs back, only I know so long I didn't catch up with them.

Around 3 years ago, I was studying in MMU, Melaka. I remember that I was so "pure" and "young" new to the Uni life. "As usual", those seniors sure be so "care" of those juniors. They treated me so so good, just like elder brothers and sisters take caring of mui mui chai. I wonder how long I don't have such feeling sinceI have grew old.. final year in MMU already. Thanks for those Melaka-ian who brought me so sweet and nice memory to me. I'll sure remember it in my heart, ever after.

Today, one of my friend emergency sent to Putra Jaya hospital because of his lung problem. I really hope he's ok be well, be good. In my heart, I just hope that he can recover as soon as possible. Because he was always the joking and funny friend of mine, I never have such feeling of caring to him. But now only I know, the friendship with him is always be appreciated. Let's pray for him, to recover and be healthy. I know that I can't lost this so best friend of mine. [o<

On the other hand, I learn to appreciated friend and to care of friend. Although some of our friends look funny, joky or strong, but we still must care of them much much o... :P because of that, I'm so sentimental today.

HAPPY NEW YEAR 2006 !! HAPPY CHINESE NEW DOGGY YEAR!!

Many of my friends started asking me the reason I didn't post up blog for so long.. The reason "might" because of last semester (Sem 2) did really make me mad and moody by doing so many stuff in the short two months in the semester.

Why were I so busy with it? and what were I busy with? Aiseh.. no need to guess that u all should know I have started my Final Year Project since that semester. May be that would be the reason that made me busy till mad of it. Anyway, I am doing the Mobile Tourist Assistant in my Final Year Project. Everything's still going fine (I think) .. just need more in software implementation part o..

During the last semester (Sem 2), I did something that I never do before in my whole University Life. It was that I skipped 1 week class to go for a trip in China. As all MMU students know, during short semester, we skip one week is equivalent to skip 2 weeks class in long semester. Therefore, I was quite tension and rushed for my studies after coming back to the school from China. Although I got to scarify studies for the trip, however, it’s really true that I did enjoy so so much during my trip in China with my beloved family. Mummy said that elder sis is going to marry soon, and that might be the last family trip with her. Moreover, that’s the time for us to come back to our “hometown” which is situated at the south part of China, called “Hai Lu Fong”. Papa said we need to take this chance have a look of our grand grandpa hometown. Those photos I have taken is posted here.

Chinese New Year is coming soon, these would be my last holiday before I graduate (June 2006) in my University life. Let’s enjoy as much as I could during this holiday!!~~!!

This's the 3rd time I attended friends' convocation, on the 6th and 7th of August, 2005.

The 1st time I attended was in year 2003, that held in Melaka Dewan. At that time, I was still in Beta year who was an active young young girl. I wasn't know many seniors at that time, but followed friends to meet friends' seniors. Because of I just went to Cyber from Melaka pre-U, so I took this excuse to come back Melaka in order to meet and gather back all my beloved friends in Melaka. I missed Melaka a lot because I still not used to the new environment in Cyber, feeling that Cyber was a desert.

The 2nd time I attended convo in Melaka again was the following year which was in year 2004. After I went to Cyberjaya for another of my 3 years degree, I promised myself and all my Melaka 'temporarily-housemates' would go back Melaka once every long Semester. Therefore, I took this opportunity to meet back all my beloved friends again, stayed in the same 'temporarily-house'. Again, congratulated to my dear seniors and sent the best regards to them.

The 3rd time (this year) was the most happening moment for me because many of my seniors graduated. Finally I could meet them again as I didn't meet them for so long since they graduated. And it would be the last year for me to attend seniors' convocation because I am now in Final year (sound old). Seeing them wearing smart robe, holding pretty flowers and cutey teddy bear. I felt that I wished to be like them, graduate also… but scared of it at the same time. It’s because I may need to scarify my freedom when I work outside after graduate. All people missed their University life so much after they graduated. They said that they faced tension and competitive when they worked outside. The most joyful moment was always life when Schooling especially in University. Therefore, they advised me to enjoy and appreciate my University life. How do u think?

Anyway, do wish all my fresh graduated senior friends, all the best and keep in touch always. I will always remember u all. Miss u.

Sg.Buloh Leprosy Home Visit

We visited Sg Buloh Leprosy Home last month, 10th July. At first, i really didn't know what was the meaning of "Leprosy". Just because .. 'someone' asked me to go.. so I was there. Who was the one who encouraged me to go? Hehe.. her pretty face appears in one of the photos below.. guess who la... :P (The most front one in the 2nd picture). Wanna know her? hehe...

During that day, the activities we had was telling jokes with those uncle and aunts there.. having fun with them, singing to them.. giving them presents and others.. but unluckily we couldn't take photos with them due to some reasons. But this pictures that I 'curi' from Internet.
His appearance is a bit serious case.

The best moment arrived after entertained them, which was.. "LUNCH TIME"... how hungry we were.. Everyone got their food and sat quietly to enjoy our lunch. After lunch, everyone started talking, knowing more to their new friends. Since everyone was so talkative, we had another section which was "SHARING SECTION". We shared about our feeling in this visit with others. Some friends cried of touching... For my feeling, I felt that I am very lucky because I have a lovely family, have so many friends surrounded me, have the chance to do whatever I prefer, and not being isolated by the communities. I should learn to appreciate always with what I have now... and feel thankful to our family and friends who always be my side.

So long time I didn't update my blog.. May be busy? May be lazy? May be my browser didn't turn up the page? I am not understand too but just throwing excuses. Anyway, I'll keep in mind to update blog more often, to share out something for u all, my friends.

Did u all hear about Disneyland in US? Disneyland Resort in Paris? and Disneyland in Toyko as well? All of these wonderful places are such a joyful paradise for us, especially children.
